At last new version of Deviant is being released. Following changes has been made:
- Font Family is modified to replace ‘Times New Roman’ with ‘Courier New’, so this will save your blog to be messed up by Deviant even if you are not using Windows Vista or Microsoft Office2007. Even if you don’t bother with rest of the changes for some reason, I will still strongly recommend you to manually upgrade at least this property in css file manually.
- Second most important change is addition of archive heading over the posts while browsing archives. Just view any category or date archive to see this change.
- Boldness of Hyper links is lightened
- Font sizes of headings are reduced just a bit
- Missing .left class is now added which can be used to align things to left
- New readme.txt file
- Css File is more cleaned up
- License is now changed to GPL from Creative Common
Plus there are lots of subtle changes made to this theme to make it a better version but unfortunately because these changes were made over a long period of time, so I am unable to recall all of them.

Deviant WordPress theme has already been out there and many blogs are using it … i also found some blogs has already modified it to fit their own taste. So its time for deviant to get a face lift. So get ready to be exposed to new deviant which will be coming up soon.

Future Plans:
Apart from other themes which appears on blogpshere and vanish after few weeks, deviant will remain actively developed. Focus will be on incorporating more features, supporting more plugins, improving visual style and usability of theme. So this will not be the last time you have came here :).
Further we would be releasing different color version and side bar configuration for this theme soon.
And all of this will be controlled through an option page which will be introduced in soon to be released version 2/3
